Don’t Forget to Blush
If your mornings are anything like ours then spending more than 5-10 minutes on makeup is a luxury that you can’t afford. So whilst it’s important to get our primers, foundation, eye and lip makeup on, let’s not forget about the unassuming and humble blush!
When applied correctly, blush can make you look more youthful by adding a touch of rosiness reminiscent of our (much) younger days. Blush also creates a balance between your eye makeup and lips, as well as highlighting or creating the illusion of cheekbones.
Powdered Blush is good if you have oily skin and cream is best for dry to normal skin. Cream blush and illuminators will give you a dewy glossy look that is on trend at the moment. Use an illuminator under the eye and above the cheek to create the illusion of raised cheekbones.
Pale skin looks best with peach or rosy colours (think warm undertones). Medium shade skin also looks great with these colours. Darker skin suits tans, gold and bronze as well as lighter shades. (Shop Style AND Tonic below)
